“Heads Gone after the Election 2016”
Life size installation, relief, fabrics, sewing, 2016-2017

Life size headless human bodies are to portray the current confusion about and regression from liberal democractic values in the US.  After the US election of 2016 both incidents of hate and political conflicts have inspired me to think about how humans react when politicians and political movements promote attacks based on race, religion and/or sexual orientation, etc.  The values in the US as a liberal democracy should promote and embrace diversity, but these values are seeming to be disintegrating, creating an absurdity to the human life world.
